    NASA and Boeing will develop a more fuel-efficient aircraft design

    The US space agency NASA and aircraft manufacturer Boeing will collaborate on the development of a passenger aircraft that produces fewer emissions, NASA announced on Wednesday. As part of the agreement, NASA will invest $425 million over seven years to build, test, and fly a full-scale demonstrator aircraft, while Boeing and its partners will contribute the remaining funding, estimated at $725 million.

    NASA and Boeing will develop a more fuel-efficient aircraft designThe agency will also contribute its technical expertise and facilities to the agreement. Nearly half of all aviation emissions are generated by single-aisle aircraft, according to NASA. The agency plans to complete testing for the project by the end of the decade so that the new design may be deployed in the 2030s.

    Nearly 22,000 Pakistanis deported from Gulf over four months for visa violations and begging highlights tightening immigration enforcement across the Middle East. The written statement submitted by the Ministry for Narcotics Control detailed that Saudi Arabia accounted for the vast majority of repatriations, expelling 15,500 Pakistani nationals during the four-month window. The United Arab Emirates deported 3,803 individuals, followed by Oman with 1,606 deportations, Bahrain with 521, Qatar with 429, and Kuwait with 97. A significant subset of the repatriated individuals involved 4,628 absconders, 1,294 individuals who served prison sentences, and 472 individuals specifically identified as beggars.
